Our Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) program is designed to prepare students for dynamic roles in the healthcare system, focusing on patient-centered care, drug safety, and evidence-based practice.

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) Program

The Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) is a five-year professional degree program designed to prepare students for diverse roles in clinical, hospital, industrial, and community pharmacy settings. The curriculum focuses on pharmacology, clinical pharmacy, medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutics, and patient care, integrating theoretical knowledge with practical experience.

Career Opportunities for Pharm-D Graduates

Hospital & Clinical Pharmacy

Work as a clinical pharmacist in public or private hospitals—ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines.

Pharmaceutical Industry

Join pharmaceutical companies in roles such as production, quality control, research & development, regulatory affairs, or medical affairs.

Community Pharmacy

Manage or own a pharmacy, provide patient counseling, and play a vital role in primary healthcare.

Academia & Research

Pursue teaching positions in pharmacy colleges or universities, or engage in pharmaceutical and clinical research.

Government & Regulatory Bodies

Serve in drug regulatory authorities, drug testing labs, or as drug inspectors under provincial and federal health departments.

Scope Abroad

Pharm-D graduates can work abroad after passing licensing exams such as FPGEE (USA), DHA, MOH, or HAAD (UAE), and meeting country-specific requirements.
